Embodiment Tools: Therapeutics for Pain Management & Conditions
There is a natural order and harmony to this world, which we can discover. But we have to feel it in our bones,
in our hearts, in our minds

in our hearts, in our minds

A 2-day deep dive into to the matrix of our body-mind connection. This weekend workshop is an exploration into waking up the internal senses to uncover our own physical and subtle mind-body mapping, to help us determine the way we inhabit in our environment and respond to elements and people around us.
The practice will also shine a light on our habitual but unconscious neurological patterning that manifest into how we breathe, our holding gait, and reactivity to circumstances. These are manifested through pre-disposition, deep-seated patterns, and years of conditioning. Bringing together mindfulness with somatic tools, we can gain more clarity into our own feelings and behaviour as an embodied biological process in order to live with greater ease and grace.
We will unearth the treasure trove of our innate healing through embodiment practices in movement, breathwork, yoga therapy applications, traditional Hatha Yoga practices, visualisations, vocalisations, self-inquiry and bodywork so you are EMPOWERED to access your own transformation and healing. Mindfulness, compassion and deep listening are tools we will cultivate to create the sanctity of a therapeutic relationship through the art of touch in hands-on bodywork.
This course is for movers, yogis, athletes, dancers, bodyworkers, coaches. You will be able to apply these tools for teaching yoga or movement, self-care, or in offering bodywork to support your clients and your loved ones.
When we explore from within through sensory approach instead of a cognitive approach, our mind can de-clutter and re-wire towards a moment-to-moment presence in wellness. Hence, cultivating a mindful and practical dialogue in dealing with pain, injuries, anxiety & stress.

Day 1 - Understanding Yoga as Therapy: Posture & Breath
This session will begin with inquiring the movement patterns of our mind & body and understanding the anatomy of breath vis-à-vis the 3 diaphragms. Working through various movement explorations from the inside out to explore our individual unique blueprint. We will look into some chronic holding patterns and learn about creating therapeutic relationship in hands-on work.
Day 2 - Inquiry-based Embodiment: Repose & Release
Building upon the blue print of identifying, articulating, differentiating & integrating our breath within the body, we will further unravel the embodiment process through our relationships with gravity through our feet & pelvis, and sensing the visceral support of our organs, as well as the intricacies of our fascia network connective. We will also release techniques on some common conditions such as back pain, digestive issues, migraine etc through intuitive bodywork.
